Reversing a general 5-year downward trend, I saw more movies in the first 6
months of 2018 than in the first half of any year since 2012.
The real difference came in repeat viewing or watching movies I'd already
seen. The number of movies I saw for the first time was the lowest since I
started keeping track in 2013. However, I saw more movies in the cinema than
in any first half-year since I started keeping track in 2012.
