How'd I Do? 93rd Academy Awards Nominations Edition

I got 36 out of 43 in the top eight categories. That's 83.7%. Getting 19/20 in the acting categories made up for the fact that I went only 6/8 on Best Picture and 3/5 on Best Adapted Screenplay. I was right about only 8 Best Picture nominees, though.

My overall score was 77/102 (75.5%) After 5 straight years of improving my prediction accuracy, I have fallen back a bit.

Everything I Saw in the 2nd Half of 2020

The back half of 2020 was a very unusual period of viewing for me, owing of course to the

pandemic. 54 total feature films is low for me, but not too far off the norm. The real difference

was that a lot of those were repeats or revisits. I only watched 18 features films I'd never seen

before. And this was the first 6 month period since probably 1986 that I didn't see any movies

in the theater. I only saw 8 in all of 2020, which was probably my lowest number since maybe

1989 or 1990.

So where did my time go? TV shows! I tracked 161 episodes watched and that doesn't include

anything I watched in late night syndication like Seinfeld, Friends, and The Honeymooners!
